Jinchen, Singulus at India’s REI Expo

Yingkou Jinchen Machinery Co. Ltd. (China) and Singulus Technologies AG (Germany) are strengthening their joint venture to meet India’s growing demand for solar cell manufacturing equipment. At the Renewable Energy India Expo 2024, they showcased cutting-edge solar technologies like HJT and TOPCon. According to Jinchen, its PERTop PV cell equipment received significant attention, while Singulus promoted its expertise in HJT production. With India planning to expand solar cell production and include solar cells in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) by 2026, the joint venture aims to provide crucial production solutions. Both companies have a history in India, with Singulus contributing to the solar sector since 2012. The partnership says that it offers comprehensive solutions that align with India’s renewable energy goals, focusing on increasing solar cell and module production capacities to meet future demand.
