Avaada launches INR 13,650 crore PV plant in India

India-based Avaada Electro Private Limited has officially laid the foundation for an integrated solar manufacturing plant at Butibori MIDC, Nagpur, Maharashtra. The INR 13,650 crore project includes the production of solar ingots, wafers, cells, modules, and electrolyzers, aligning with India’s green hydrogen and green ammonia policies. In addition to this, Avaada is also investing heavily in this state-of-the-art facility, which will manufacture equipment for the country’s renewable energy sector. The company has already started work on 12,000 MW of solar projects as part of India’s largest solar generation plan, with an additional 4,000 MW underway. The total solar capacity of projects approved and commenced by Avaada stands at 20,000 MW.
