The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has reserved its decision on a petition filed by Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) under Section 63 of the Electricity Act, 2003. The petition seeks the adoption of tariffs for a 900 MW wind-solar hybrid power project (Tranche VII), which is connected to the Inter-State Transmission System and selected through a competitive bidding process following guidelines from the Government of India. The case involved respondents such as NTPC Renewables Energy Private Limited and others. The CERC has reserved the matter for an order after considering all submissions.
