Solex Energy to scale up solar production to 15 GW by 2030

Solex Energy Limited, an India-based renewable energy company, has announced a major ₹8,000 crore investment under its Vision 2030 strategy. The plan aims to significantly scale its solar module and cell manufacturing capacities. Solex Energy will develop a 2 GW solar cell manufacturing facility, with plans to expand it to 5 GW, and increase its solar module production capacity from 1.5 GW to 15 GW. The company’s Vision 2030 also involves increasing its workforce to over 25,000 employees to support the new facilities and production lines. In addition, Solex launched the Tapi-R series, featuring n-type TOPcon technology and a rectangular cell design, which offers up to 625 W of power and a 23.14% efficiency rate. The series is offered with a 12-year product warranty and a 30-year performance guarantee, which the company says is ideal for large-scale solar projects.
