MSpectrum, Excelitas team up for 116 kW PV project in Laguna

Philippines-based MSpectrum Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Meralco, has partnered with Excelitas Technologies Philippines, Inc., a local unit of US-based Excelitas Technologies Corporation, to install a 116 kW solar facility at its manufacturing plant in Cabuyao, Laguna. The project, slated for completion in December 2024, will generate 165,998 kWh of clean energy annually, helping Excelitas cut its carbon footprint by approximately 751 metric tons each year. This reduction is equivalent to planting 5,430 trees or reducing vehicle travel by over 470,000 kilometers annually.
