Qair to develop 52 MW PV plant for Carrefour in Italy

Qair, an independent Europe-based renewable energy company, has secured a contract with France-headquartered Carrefour to develop a 52 MW solar plant in Italy’s Latium region by 2026. With this signing, Carrefour Italia’s total annual renewable energy supply in Italy expands to 75 GWh, equivalent to powering around 30 of its hypermarkets. The partnership, which Qair terms as the start of a long-term partnership, helps Carrefour reduce its environmental impact and carbon footprint.
