DAS Solar & Smartsun complete 82 MW solar project in Greece

China-based global PV technology company DAS Solar and Greek solar project design and construction firm Smartsun have jointly completed the construction of solar parks in northern Greece with a combined capacity of 82 MW. These projects feature 136,000 advanced rectangular n-type TOPCon modules supplied by DAS Solar. Solar energy now contributes 18.4% of Greece’s total power generation, making it the leading country in Europe for solar energy reliance. In 2023, Greece set a new record by adding 1.59 GW of new photovoltaic (PV) capacity, according to research institutions.
