NX Foundation by Nextracker tackles challenging solar site conditions

Nextracker, a US-based leader in solar tracker technology, has introduced NX Foundation Solutions, which includes the NX Anchor—a versatile foundation system designed for optimizing ground-mount solar projects across diverse soil conditions. This launch follows Nextracker’s recent acquisitions of Ojjo and Solar Pile International’s foundations business. According to the company, NX Foundation Solutions streamlines solar project development, making it faster, safer, cost-optimized, and more efficient for EPCs and developers. The suite offers services such as geotechnical reviews, on-site testing, and foundation design. Notably, the Ojjo Truss Driver, a patented drilling and pile driving machine, has driven over one million foundation piles. Nextracker‘s foundations can reduce steel use by up to 50% and embedment depth by up to 70%, leading to significant cost and schedule savings.
