Bila to introduce 520 W lightweight PV module at RE+

US–based Bila Solar, known for its ultralight solar solutions, is launching a 520 W glass-free solar panel at the RE+ event in California next week. Weighing just 24.47 lbs (about 11.1 kg), features 19.3% efficiency and is designed with a factory pre-integrated frame for easy mechanical mounting, says Bila Solar. The It offers versatile installation options, including quick-bonding and removable mechanical mounting for commercial rooftops. Certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and manufactured in Indiana, the panel is expected to be available for sale in early 2025. Its patented composite materials reduce light reflection and ensure durable performance, with an output power guarantee of 84.8% after 25 years. Additionally, the panel operates efficiently in extreme temperatures, ranging from -40°F to 185°F, making it a highly durable and reliable choice for commercial solar installations.
