Summit Ridge adopts US-made inverters from Siemens

Summit Ridge Energy, a US-based solar company, has entered a strategic partnership with Siemens to secure 1,000 inverters for its solar projects. Siemens, based in Germany, will manufacture these inverters at its new Wisconsin facility. Deliveries are expected to start in early 2025, serving Summit Ridge’s installations in Illinois and Virginia. As per Summit Ridge, this deal marks a pivotal point, with the company committing to using exclusively US-sourced components, including solar modules, racking systems, and inverters. This focus on domestic content underscores the company’s dedication to enhancing local manufacturing. Siemens’ manufacturing capabilities will ensure the delivery of reliable inverters, helping Summit Ridge’s mission to provide clean, affordable energy for the US community solar industry.
