Canadian Solar partners with SOLARCYCLE for solar recycling

Global renewable energy and semiconductor company Canadian Solar Inc. has partnered with SOLARCYCLE, a US–based solar recycling firm, to offer recycling services for its crystalline silicon solar modules. This makes Canadian Solar one of the first manufacturers to provide recycling options at the time of purchase, helping customers incorporate sustainability from the start. As an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partner for SOLARCYCLE, Canadian Solar will offer recycling services upfront to its US customers. This initiative supports circularity in the solar industry by recovering valuable materials like silver, copper, glass, and aluminum for reuse in the solar supply chain.Canadian Solar claims to have delivered over 133 GW of solar photovoltaic modules globally and developed approximately 11 GW of solar power projects.
