Octopus Energy Generation, a prominent European renewable energy investor, and LONGi, the world’s largest solar module manufacturer, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to formalize a partnership. The MOU, finalized during a visit by Octopus Energy Generation’s leadership to LONGi’s headquarters in Shanghai, sets the stage for LONGi to be added to Octopus Energy’s preferred supplier list. The partnership includes negotiations for a solar panel supply agreement that will enable Octopus to acquire panels quickly and efficiently for its solar farm projects, leveraging LONGi’s capabilities. Octopus Energy Generation manages $9 billion in renewable projects and has over 150 solar investments across six countries.
