PLN Nusantara Renewables and GDHK Partner on 100 MW floating PV project

Indonesia’s PLN Nusantara Renewables (PLN NR) and GD Power Hong Kong Overseas Investment (GDHK) have formed the NR-GDHK consortium to develop the 100 MW Karangkates Floating Solar Power Plant in East Java’s Sutami Reservoir and Karangkates Dam. The project includes a floating solar plant with a minimum capacity of 133 MW (DC) and 100 MW (AC), along with upgrading the power transmission infra of Karangkates and Sutami substations. The consortium will handle all aspects of the project, from permits to construction and maintenance. The auction runs from September 1 to September 8, 2024.
