China-based JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd., a global leader in solar module manufacturing, reported its Q2 2024 unaudited financial results, revealing mixed performance. The company generated revenues of RMB 24.05 billion ($3.31 billion), a 4.4% sequential increase but a 21.6% year-over-year decline. Gross profit was RMB 2.68 billion ($368.3 million), slightly down by 2.1% from the previous quarter, and down 44.0% from the same period last year. During this period, JinkoSolar achieved total shipments of 25,318 MW, reflecting a 15.6% sequential growth and a 36.0% year-over-year increase. The company claims to have led the industry with a 34.1% year-over-year growth in module shipments, delivering a total of 23.8 GW. JinkoSolar also claims to be the first in the industry to deliver 260 GW of solar modules globally. For the full year 2024, JinkoSolar projects total module shipments of 100 GW to 110 GW.
