Avantus and TAI begin construction on 159 MW Norton Solar Project

Avantus, in collaboration with Toyota Tsusho America, has commenced construction on the 159 MWdc/125 MWac Norton Solar Project in Runnels County, Texas. This project, expected to create 250 construction jobs. The project is set to be will be operational by late 2025. The Norton Solar Project will offset over 230,000 metric tons of CO2 annually, contributing to global sustainability goals. The project highlights the ongoing partnership between Avantus and TAI, backed by financing from Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, and represents a significant step in Texas’ clean energy transition.
