Sunnova systems power 54,500 Puerto Ricans during storm

US-based Sunnova Energy International, Inc. highlighted the reliability of its solar + storage systems during recent storms. During Tropical Storm Ernesto in Puerto Rico, Sunnova powered over 54,500 customers while the local grid failed. The company claims its systems generated 8.05 GWh, with 98.5% of SunSafe systems undamaged. For the 1.5% impacted, Sunnova’s technicians were on-site within hours. During Hurricanes Debby and Beryl, Sunnova powered over 8,500 customers across four states, with 96% of systems operational.
