AGL expands with Firm Power, Terrain Solar acquisition

AGL Energy Limited is set to acquire Firm Power and Terrain Solar for $ 250 million, significantly enhancing its renewable energy portfolio. This strategic acquisition will add an 8.1 GW development pipeline to AGL’s assets, comprising 6.1 GW of grid-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, 1.8 GW of solar projects, and a 250 MW onshore wind project. The transaction is expected to close in 2024, pending customary conditions.
