SUNation named top NY solar installer

SUNation, a New York-based subsidiary of Pineapple Energy Inc., has been named the top solar + storage installer in New York by Solar Power World (SPW). SPW’s Top Solar Contractors List highlights the strength of leading companies in their respective markets. And according to SPW, SUNation had installed five times more battery storage capacity than its local competitors in 2023. SUNation’s battery installations have increased in 2024, reflecting their growing importance in renewable energy. As per Pineapple Energy Inc., integrating battery storage into residential installations remains a top priority, especially with the gradual introduction of time-of-use rates.
