JA Solar partners with Solarpro in Bulgaria

China based JA Solar, a global manufacturer of high-performance photovoltaic products, announced a strategic cooperation with European EPC contractor Solarpro to supply DeepBlue 4.0 Pro high-efficiency TOPCon modules for a 240 MW PV plant in Tenevo village, Yambol district, Bulgaria. Solarpro, a leading EPC contractor and technological provider in Europe, will manage the entire project’s lifecycle from design to implementation and monitoring. The project, financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), is set to be one of the largest in Bulgaria. According to the company, the installation of the solar modules is scheduled to begin in Q3 2024, with the project expected to reach grid connection and become operational by the end of Q2 2025.
