Verogy empowers communities with solar energy

Verogy, a solar energy developer in West Hartford, Connecticut, has successfully finished Connecticut’s largest solar project under the Shared Clean Energy Facility (SCEF) program. Located at 110 North Street in Enfield, CT, Enfield Solar One, with a capacity of 5.96 MW DC, marks the state’s largest SCEF initiative, operating within Eversource’s service area. Utilizing Phono Solar Bi-Facial 545 W modules, it’s estimated to produce 8,566,000 kWh annually, resulting in approximately $214,150 in yearly electric savings over the next two decades for low- and moderate-income households and other utility customers. Verogy, a prominent SCEF project developer with nine projects totaling 42 MW, collaborates with regulatory authorities and policymakers to enhance credits for low-income households, extending the benefits to landlords of affordable housing, small businesses, and municipalities.
