Ethical Power has been appointed the principal contractor for the Offham Landfill Solar Park, following its successful collaborations with Infinis on the Winterton and Boston landfill solar projects. Construction of the 31-acre solar park, located on an FCC Environment landfill site in Kent, has commenced and is expected to be completed by the second half of 2024. The park will generate approximately 11,000 MWh of renewable energy annually, sufficient to power about 2,700 homes. The project also includes biodiversity commitments, such as planting 16 new trees, adding 200 meters of hedgerow, and enhancing existing grasslands and hedgerows, along with establishing a public right of way on the site.
