Asset developer Vesper Energy has sold its Deer Creek Renewable Energy project to a Fortune 500 energy company. The project, spanning 378 acres in Tulare County, California, aims for a potential generating capacity of 50 MWac solar and 50 MW of energy storage. This sale aligns with Vesper’s goal to advance clean energy infrastructure through technology and partnerships across the US. The company also has two projects in development in Tulare County, demonstrating commitment to the region’s clean energy transition and California’s 100% zero-carbon energy goal by 2045. Vesper Energy’s development pipeline in California comprises around 1750 MW of solar and energy storage projects.
