Aspen Power, a decarbonization-focused distributed generation platform, has acquired eight ground-mounted solar projects in Pennsylvania and New York from Solar Site Developers, totaling over 41 MW. These projects, currently in the engineering design phase, are soon to begin construction. In Pennsylvania, the projects will operate under state net-metering regulations, while in New York, they will participate in the Value of Distributed Energy Resources (VDER) program, providing bill credits to utility customers. Aspen Power collaborates with early-stage developers to expand clean energy sources, offering recurring revenues to landowners who host solar projects on their land or rooftops, thereby enabling them to utilize their properties for renewable energy generation and receive regular payments.
