Standard Solar, a commercial and community solar company, has acquired an additional 18.5 MW solar project in Vermont from MHG Solar. This brings the total number of projects acquired from MHG to six. All the projects will provide clean energy to Vermont utilities under the state’s Standard Offer Program. The projects are expected to generate clean electricity for thousands of homes and create local jobs. All projects are expected to be completed by the end of 2024. This acquisition builds upon Standard Solar’s initial collaboration with MHG Solar on a 3.2 MW project in Wallingford, Vermont in 2020.
