AIKO, headquartered in China, has launched Phase-1 of its Jinan factory, a CO2-free intelligent facility, producing its first N-Type ABC solar panel as part of its 10 GW operations. The factory integrates Industry 4.0 technologies, full digitalization, and renewable energy. Sustainability measures include 90% water reuse, over 30% waste heat recovery, and a 1.5-kilometer production line that enhances efficiency, increasing unit surface capacity by 50%. Automation and AI-driven defect detection ensure quality control while reducing costs. The factory, designed to optimize solar manufacturing, is set to expand its capacity to 30 GW by 2029, with full cell production expected to commence by 2025.
