Astronergy supplied 480 MW of steel-framed PV modules to JISCO’s 1 GW solar power station in Northwest China, grid-connected by late 2024. The project includes 240 MW each of ASTRO N7 and N5 modules, featuring low-energy steel frames that eliminate wastewater and emissions while enhancing durability. In 2024, Astronergy partnered with JISCO and China Baowu Steel Group to advance renewable energy in traditional industries. The ASTRO N series, which includes N5 72-cell and 78-cell modules and N7 66-cell modules, has undergone rigorous reliability testing. Now in mass production, these modules aim to lower emissions and energy consumption in energy-intensive sectors.
