China-headquartered Huawei, JA Solar, UNESCO, and Thailand’s Ministry of Education launched the Green Education Project to provide solar energy systems and ICT training to 11 Thai schools and community hubs, particularly in rural areas. The initiative, under Huawei’s TECH4ALL program, focuses on three pillars:

  • Green Schools for Secondary Education: Installing rooftop solar systems and training teachers and students.
  • Green Schools for Vocational Education: Preparing students for renewable energy careers with hands-on photovoltaic training.
  • Green Communities: Supporting public libraries and learning centers with renewable energy and mobile digital education, including green energy and cybersecurity training via Huawei’s Digital Bus.
