Verogy, a US-based solar energy developer, has completed two rooftop solar projects for FedEx facilities in Connecticut. The portfolio includes an 866 kW project in Stratford and a 2,075 kW system in Middletown. These mark FedEx’s first solar initiatives in the state. The systems feature over 5,300 panels. Together, they will generate about 3.47 million kWh of clean energy annually. This output can power around 321 homes each year. According to Verogy, the systems will offset roughly 2,423 metric tons of CO₂ emissions annually. These efforts support FedEx’s goal of achieving carbon-neutral operations by 2040.
