France-based Neoen, a global renewable energy leader, sold its Victorian renewable portfolio to HMC Capital for AUD 950 million (~$607.58 million). The divestment includes 652 MW of operating assets like the Victorian Big Battery and Bulgana Green Power Hub, along with a 2.8 GW pipeline of solar, wind, and storage projects. This sale aligns with commitments made to secure ACCC approval for Brookfield’s majority stake in Neoen. Post-transaction, Neoen retains 3.7 GW operational capacity in Australia and focuses on achieving 10 GW by 2030.
