Australia-based Capral Aluminium and SunDrive Solar have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen Australia’s solar manufacturing capabilities through a sustainable local supply chain. Capral’s LocAL low-carbon aluminium will be integrated into SunDrive’s solar modules, reducing environmental impact and enhancing supply chain reliability. The collaboration focuses on research and development to improve solar module efficiency and create high-quality, cost-competitive solutions. This partnership aims to support jobs, foster renewable energy growth, and position Australia as a leader in sustainable solar production, contingent on support from ARENA’s Solar Sunshot program.
