France’s renewable energy producer Neoen and Equinix signed their first Italian power purchase agreement (PPA). The agreement secures 53 MW of solar energy from seven new-build projects. These projects are located near Milan and Genoa in Northern Italy. The 10-year agreement supports Equinix’s renewable energy goals for its data centers while aligning with Italy’s 2030 energy and climate targets. With this PPA, Neoen’s corporate agreements now total over 2.8 GW globally, and Equinix’s renewable energy capacity has reached 1.2 GW worldwide.
