Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) has commissioned a 431 MW (DC) solar project in Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh. Spanning 1,635 acres, the project features bifacial modules and single-axis trackers, enhancing efficiency by 15%. Supplying power to Western Railways and MP Power Management Company, the plant offsets 780,300 tons of CO2 annually. With this, TPREL’s renewable capacity reaches 10.9 GW, including 4.4 GW solar and 1 GW wind energy. The company advances Tata Power’s carbon neutrality target before 2045.
