Onasolar set to complete 144 MW solar projects by 2025

Egyptian solar company Onasolar is set to complete three major solar projects totaling 144 MW by mid-2025. These include a 4 MW solar installation at Cairo Airport, a 100 MW solar station for the Ministry of Electricity in West Sohag, and a 40 MW solar project in Wadi El Natrun supporting a 37,000-acre agricultural investment. While the Wadi El Natrun project is expected to be completed by December 2024, the others are slated for H1 2025. Onasolar also including a 300 MW project in Aswan and plans to develop 500-1,000 MW solar projects in partnership with Egypt’s Ministry of Electricity.
