India-based Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited has won an INR 1,233 crore (~$1.45 billion) order to develop a ground-mount solar PV project with a capacity of 2.017 GW DC. The project was awarded by a domestic renewable energy developer, is one of Waaree’s largest solar contracts to date. The company clarified that no promoter or group company is involved with the awarding entity, emphasizing its focus on independent growth.
