In the 2024 solar module tender by China Huaneng Group, Astronergy ranked third among seven shortlisted companies for the first bid, which allocates 13.5 GW of the 15 GW tender capacity to n-type solar modules. This marks Astronergy’s fourth successful bid with Huaneng Group since 2020, bringing its total awarded capacity to 3.7 GW. Huaneng Group is a state-owned enterprise and a leading player in China’s power industry. In 2024, Astronergy will supply 800 MW of ASTRO N5 modules for Huaneng’s “1 Million PV + Air Storage” project, designed to generate 1.6 billion kWh of clean energy annually. Astronergy continues to expand its global partnerships, promoting its “Solar +” model and enhancing its presence in the renewable energy sector.
