The gas projects—Rumaih-1, Rumaih-2, Nairyah-1, and Nairyah-2—will start in Q2 2028. Developers include ACWA Power, SEC, TAQA, JERA, and Al Bawani. The $9.3 billion investment supports Vision 2030’s 50% renewable and 50% natural gas energy mix goals.
