China’s DMEGC Solar’s Lianyungang factory has received TÜV SÜD’s ISO 14068 Organizational Carbon Neutrality Achievement Verification, marking the first certification of its kind in the photovoltaic industry. During this certification process, TÜV SÜD assessed emissions according to ISO 14064-3:2019, the GHG Protocol, and ISO 14068:2023 standards. DMEGC achieved carbon neutrality at the Lianyungang base through purchasing international carbon credits to offset emissions. Alongside Lianyungang, DMEGC’s facilities in Sihong and Yibin were verified for 100% green energy consumption. The company has committed to reaching carbon peak by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2050 through emissions control and sustainable energy integration across all sites.
