AMPIN Energy Transition, an India-based renewable energy company, has signed a PPA with Varroc Group for an additional 27 MW solar project in Maharashtra. This project represents a repeat order from Varroc and builds on AMPIN’s previous installations for Varroc across India. With this expansion, Varroc’s total contracted solar capacity with AMPIN exceeds 60 MW, enabling Varroc to source approximately 70% of its energy needs from clean, renewable sources. The project is expected to reduce Varroc’s energy costs by 45% at its Maharashtra plants and is projected to mitigate 35,500 metric tons of CO₂ emissions annually.
