ENGIE’s Goorambat East Solar Farm in Australia set for 2026 completion

France-headquartered ENGIE, began construction on its 250 MW Goorambat East Solar Farm in northern Victoria. Set for completion in 2026, the solar farm was designed to power 105,000 homes and create 250 construction jobs. ENGIE committed to providing $75,000 annually in community benefits and up to $1,000 in yearly electricity rebates for nearby residents. Located near Goorambat and Benalla, the project supported ENGIE’s target of achieving 3 GW of renewable energy in Australia by 2030.
