India-based Solex Energy announced its partnership with State Bank of India (SBI) to offer financing for commercial, industrial, and institutional solar projects across India. Under this partnership, SBI will offer loans up to INR 10 crore (~$1.18 million) through its Surya Shakti Solar Finance Scheme. Solex Energy will handle end-to-end project support, including site evaluation, design, and regulatory approvals, while SBI will provide a digital platform to simplify the loan application process. The collaboration follows a trend of banks joining with solar providers to expand financing options. Solex Energy is also expanding its manufacturing capacity in Tadkeshwar, Gujarat, from 700 MW to 1.5 GW to meet growing solar demand.
