Singapore-headquartered, Peak Energy, signed a partnership agreement with INUPS, a South Korean energy platform company, to develop rooftop solar projects across South Korea. The partnership focuses on utilizing available rooftop space on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, given South Korea’s limited land for large-scale solar installations. Initially, the collaboration aims to develop 30 MW of rooftop solar projects, with plans to scale up to over 200 MW. Peak Energy will handle the development, construction, and energy sales through long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) with corporate customers, while INUPS will manage operations and maintenance. This initiative supports South Korea’s goal to reach net zero by 2050 and aligns with the sustainability targets of Korean and international companies aiming for decarbonization by 2030.
