TrinaTracker, a China-based PV tracker company, showcased its Vanguard 1P tracker at Solar & Storage Live in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Vanguard 1P is designed for flat terrains and harsh climates in the Middle East and Africa, addressing strong winds and sand, claims the company. According to TrinaTracker, its shrink tube technology cuts installation time for tube connections by 50%, lowering labor costs. The system features the Smart Control System, which includes the Smart Controller, Trina Smart Cloud, and SuperTrack algorithm, enhancing energy production and reducing maintenance efforts. TrinaTracker is a major player in the region, ranking third in solar tracker shipments last year, per Wood Mackenzie. TrinaTracker has already supplied over 2 GW of smart tracking solutions, including projects in Qatar and the UAE.
