India-headquartered JSW Energy signed PPA with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) to supply 1,200 MW of solar-wind hybrid projects. JSW’s subsidiaries, JSW Renew Energy Six Ltd and JSW Renew Energy Thirty Ltd, signed agreements for two 600 MW hybrid solar-wind projects. The projects are set to be commissioned within 24 months, and will be connected to Maharashtra’s state transmission utility with a 25-year tariff agreement of ₹3.60/kWh. In addition to this, the JSW has a project pipeline of 8.3 GW, with PPAs signed for 4.4 GW.
