Italy’s Plenitude has begun construction on a 220 MW solar plant in Salamanca, Spain. The solar park, covering 286 hectares, will feature 365,300 bifacial modules and is expected to produce over 400,000 MWh of electricity annually. The facility will connect to the national grid via a 3.2 km underground medium-voltage line. The project is set for completion in 2025 and is being built in collaboration with Sterling & Wilson, a global photovoltaic construction company, along with local firms. Plenitude is also in terms with local farmers to ensure the project aligns with land-use activities in the area.
