US-based New Energy Equity, a national solar developer, has completed 14 rooftop solar installations for Public Storage in Minnesota. These installations are part of Public Storage’s goal to incorporate solar at over 1,300 locations by 2025. The total capacity of the projects is 2.28 MW, with a notable 0.35 MW array at Como St. Paul, the second largest in the company’s portfolio. According to New Energy Equity, these systems will generate 2,750 MWh annually, enough to power 379 homes for a year. New Energy Equity claims to have developed over 500 MW of solar and secured more than $1.2 billion in clean energy investments.
