USA’s solar module manufacturer Runergy Alabama Inc. has entered into a partnership with solar panel recycling company SOLARCYCLE. According to agreements, SOLARCYCLE will supply 4 GW of ultra-low carbon glass, partially made from recycled solar panels, over a 5-year period. Runergy will use this glass in high-efficiency bifacial solar modules. In addition to supplying glass, SOLARCYCLE will provide comprehensive recycling services for Runergy Alabama’s solar products. This collaboration aims to promote a circular economy, reduce solar waste, and reintroduce essential materials into the solar supply chain.
