75 MW solar project coming to Palauig, Philippines

Gurīn Energy has successfully closed financing for its 75 MW solar farm in Palauig, Zambales Province, Philippines. The project, with a total investment of USD 60 million, involves deploying 136,363 solar panels on an 80-hectare site. Groundbreaking is scheduled for mid-December 2023, and commissioning is expected in Q3 2024. The solar farm aims to generate clean energy for over 35,500 homes annually, preventing 53,100 metric tons of emissions yearly.
