300 MW utility project powers up in China’s desert

The 300 MW utility project in China’s Tengger Desert featuring SOFAR inverters is now commissioned. Set to generate 540 GWh annually and restore 5.2 sq km of grassland, it will save 160,000 tons of CO2 yearly. The solar plant uses over 1,300 sets of SOFAR 255KTL-HV, and POWERCHINA is responsible for the project’s engineering, procurement, and construction.
