US-based companies GID and Greenskies Clean Focus have successfully completed a commercial solar project at Pavona Apartments in downtown San Jose, California. The newly installed 130 kW rooftop solar system is expected to generate over 180,000 kWh of clean energy annually, sufficient to power around 25 homes. According to Greenskies, the company developed and financed the system for GID under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with no upfront costs to GID. Greenskies will also act as the long-term owner and operator, managing all maintenance to ensure ongoing efficiency.
