US-based X-ELIO has completed the second phase of the Turroneros PV plant in Xixona, Alicante, adding 15 MW of capacity. This brings the plant’s total installed capacity to 50 MW across two phases. The expansion aligns with X-ELIO’s strategy in the Valencian Community, where it has pledged to invest €250 million (~$275 million) in renewable energy projects. According to X-ELIO, it has 283 MW of additional capacity in various development stages in the region. With over 19 years of expertise and 2.8 GW of solar capacity built, X-ELIO claims to be a global leader in sustainability.
